FRIDAY Performance at Alameda Park – 6:00pm Call Time near the Main Stage
We’re following the awesome world-beat-funk band ECHO in the Solstice Festival’s Friday night party in the park. Come at 5:15pm to dance with ECHO, then be part of the World Dance Solstice dance performance at 6:15pm. Please be there NO LATER than 6pm for our set. Meet near the mainstage.
SATURDAY Parade – 10:00 Call Time, Open Air Indian Market near Joe’s Cafe
Instead of meeting behind World Market at 10:00am, we’re meeting in the OPEN-AIR INDIAN MARKET on State St., a few doors down from Joes’ Café, across from the Red Piano. It’s the passageway between the street-level parking area and Anacapa and State St. Please bring any body glitter/face paint/hair paint/colorful make up supplies you are willing to share. If you can’t find us, call Genevieve: 415/999-0793.
SUNDAY, JUNE 24th, 12:00pm, Picnic at Neverland – Carpool at 11am from Sears Upper Lot
Come relax and recover with us the day after Solstice. We’re planning a picnic at the gates of Neverland in Los Olivos – a chance to enjoy each other’s company and celebrate the memory of Michael Jackson, who died on June 25th, 2009. If you want to carpool, meet at 11am sharp at Sears UPPER parking lot (near the upper store entrance). We’ll be feasting on gourmet pizza, courtesy of Leonardo’s Ristorante & Pizzeria in Solvang!
Not into dancing, but want to join us? Volunteers are need for photos/video, handing out water, make-up…
